INEZA FOUNDATION works on different projects listed below:
BOOK BOX FOR SCHOOL
September 2024, Ineza Foundation in partnership with Rulindo District initiated the Discovery Book Box Project funded by Book Aid International. This project aim was to enrich literacy and creativity in five selected public schools by providing books, Lego kits, and educational materials in the Shyorongi, Base, Bushoki, and Tumba sectors. The schools that received the Book Discovery Boxes include: 1) GS Gisiza in Shyorongi Sector; 2) EP Karambi in Bushoki Sector; 3) EP Kabeza in Base Sector; 4) GS Rukore in Tuba Sector; and 5) EP Nyamirembe in Shyorongi.
The Discovery Book Box consists of a) mobile box safe and lockable, b) 200 primary school aged English and Kinyarwanda storybooks, c) A manual with guidance on how to use a book box library and activities to enhance reading, and d) a number of teaching aids to support reading activities.
CHILDREN READING CORNER
Children’s Reading Corner’s main goal is to create a safe, friendly and vibrant children’s space within an existing Community Library to provide a reading environment; therefore, promoting a reading culture from early age to sustain a reading culture.
YOUTH AND WOMEN JOB CREATION
UMURINZI Cooperative is a youth and women initiative supporting job creation. Ineza Foundation provides physical and skills resources through ongoing training, coaching and mentorship.

HOUSE RENOVATION FOR COMMUNITY IN NEED
For the wellbeing of community members, Ineza Foundation provides support to renovate houses and latrines to improve health and safety, enhancing dignity and mental wellbeing, and providing better education outcomes for all, especially children. They perform better in school due to a better environment for sleep, study, and hygiene. By upgrading homes, it leads to community revitalization making the community stronger and more resilient. The broader impact of this initiative contributes to the UN SGD 3 (Good Health and Well Being), 6 (Sanitation Clean Water and Sanitation) and 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).
